Hannah Ann’s Last-Chance Date

And when it says “Last-Chance Date” it means it literally.

Hannah Ann meets Peter in the middle of another damn desert, but the two of them were greeted by a chiseled and handsome Australian who was setting off mad Crocodile Dundee vibes. I mean that in a good way. I know that’s not racist, but it felt racist coming out. He took them to a kangaroo sanctuary where they played with baby kangaroos. That’s now two straight dates where Hannah Ann played with Peter’s joey.

Aside from playing with ‘roos, Peter spent the rest of the date trying to talk himself into loving Hannah Ann, since… well… there’s no one else. And God forbid he go back to Barb empty handed.

Meanwhile, Hannah Ann is going with the flow, but admits something is off with Peter.

Later that evening they go back to her place (?), where she lights enough candles to make a fire marshall squirm in his seat. When Peter arrives, Hannah Ann tells him, “Tomorrow is a big day. I hope I’m the person that makes you the happiest. I hope I’m the person that makes you feel the most loved.” Peter responds with a bunch of kind things but ultimately tells her that it’s tough because his heart is being pulled in two different directions.

Um, I’m sorry, what? What is that other direction? One of the girls literally left. Either my man is awful at math or he just doesn’t want to make Barb (and Hannah Ann, I guess) the happiest woman on earth.

Frustrated Hannah Ann tells Peter, “I’ve given, and I’ve given, and I’ve given, and I just want something in return. You just seem not, you know, completely there, like I am.” He’s not Hannah Ann. Trust me. And I don’t just mean from a relationship stand point. I mean from an intellectual stand point. He’s definitely not completely there.
