There’s A High School Quarterback Named General Booty

General Booty. Let me say it again. General Booty. I mean, what could make that name any better? How about a sick middle name like Axel? Because that’s actually his full name: General Axel Booty. Oh. Hell. Yeah.

Now I’m married, so naturally, I’m more of a Specific Booty guy, but I still have an appreciation for General Booty. And you should too. I mean, forget Arch Manning. This kid is my new favorite high school football player. And if you’re wondering, yes, he’s related to the LSU and USC Booty’s (Booties?). His uncle was Josh Booty and John David Booty. But General Booty might be even better than both Josh and J.D.

The senior has a combined 27 touchdowns so far, including a game-winning touchdown pass to Bryson Green with six seconds left against Prosper to keep Allen’s historic regular-season winning streak — now at 83 games — alive.

That highlight has been viewed over 50,000 times on Twitter, and for many of those viewers it was the first they learned about General Booty.

Probably not the only time people first learned about Booty on the Internet.

His grandfather, Johnny Booty (again, another sick name and/or the name of a pornstar), played quarterback at the same high school as Terry Bradshaw. Not sure why that’s relevant, but felt like it needed to be shared.

Look, am I a six year old? Apparently. Because I just wrote an entire blog on a high schooler with the name General Booty. But I’m still giggling to myself every time I say it. Go ahead, say it out loud. Even if you’re in public right now. Just look up from your phone/computer and say “General Booty.” Lol. It’s funny, right?
