The LBJ Commercial Collection

If you haven’t seen the LeBron James Nike “RISE” Commercial by now, then you obviously don’t care for sports enough to be on this website. Meaning, you probably Googled “Wendy Peffercorn” or something and somehow managed to get linked to our site on accident.

Regardless of how you got here, check out the collection of spoofs we have found on this commercial. Obviously, LeBron James took us and all of the media hostage for half of the summer and kept us on pins and needles over where he was going to “take his talents.” Then when he betrayed his hometown (the same town he promised he was going to win a championship for), he continued to annoy us with his ego-driven kidnapping of the media. We heard more about LeBron James this summer than we did about the BP Gulf Oil Spill. Which begs the question, which was worse for our country?

To cap off everything, right before the season, LeBron and Nike released a commercial basically geared towards all of his haters and Charles Barkley. When people we hate, do things we hate even more, we oftentimes turn it into humor for the rest of us. Which is exactly what we did with LeBron’s commercial. People all over the country have been ripping it with their own spoofs.

This first video, as you might guess, is ours. And all bias aside, it’s the absolute best. It’s our own rebuttal to the commercial. We go through the entire commercial and answer all of the questions that LeBron James asks. We personally hope you enjoy this one.

This next spoof comes from our friends at SportsNation. We legitimately find this one funny. And no, we’re not sucking up because they named us “Site of the Day” last year. And no we’re not sucking up because they allowed us to personally interview Michelle Beadle earlier this year. We’re sucking up because we want jobs! (But honestly, Beadle kills it in this video. Very well done!)

This next video comes from one of the best sports talk radio hosts in the country, Dan Patrick. His radio show has just gone nationally on television for basic cable owners. Every morning from 8am to 11am on Fox Sports, you can catch Dan and his Danettes talk sports, women, and other boy stuff.

You’d think they’d be used to things like this by now, but Clevelanders are pissed that LeBron back stabbed them and left for greener pastures sandier beaches. So much so, that they decided to make their own video back at LeBron. Let’s just say that if LBJ wants to go back home, he better be wearing his Mike Holmgren disguise.
