Mark Sanchez Torn Labrum Surgery Delayed Until Doctors Learn What A Labrum Is

NEW YORK- Surgeries get delayed all the time to ensure the safety of the patient getting operated on. For injured and embarrassing New York Jets Quarterback Mark Sanchez and his torn labrum, that’s not really the case.

“I regret to announce we are delaying Mark Sanchez’s torn labrum surgery indefinitely,” Jets Team Doctor Kenneth Montgomery said. “At least until our team of doctors can figure out what a labrum is.”

For many years now, Jets doctors have been known around the league as the Jets football players of NFL team doctors. They met for hours last week studying and researching what a labrum is and where in the body it can be found.

“I’ve got nothing so far,” a Jets doctor said in a 6-hour meeting amongst team doctors.

“Isn’t Labrum one of [Antonio] Cromartie’s kids?” another team doctor asked.

“Is it Spanish for something?” one doctor mentioned. “Because, you know… Sanchez?”

New York Jets GM John Idzik says he wants their team doctors to take their time, to ensure they get it right.

“I want to be insured Mark is taken care of,” Idzik said. “The success of our team is determined on the status of Mark Sanchez. That’s why I am sending our entire staff of team doctors back to medical school for 7 years. I don’t want anyone operating on him until we know 100% what a labrum is.”

“I would hate for Mark [Sanchez] to come back too early after this injury,” Idzik continued. “Mainly because I would hate for Mark to come back.”

“To be completely honest, our jobs were a lot easier when Tim Tebow was here,” Montgomery admitted. “He would just walk around and heal people for us.”
