Friday Fun: Tower Climbing
It’s Friday, what a great day to get high! No, not that kind of getting high, Lincecum. High as in climbing a transmission tower.
If you’re terrified of heights, then I suggest you grab a towel and cover your computer keyboard before pressing play. Mainly because you will, I repeat you will, loose your lunch/breakfast/fourth meal.
Imagine the Sears Tower in Chicago. Now imagine a radio tower taller than the Sears Tower. Now imagine a small sailboat with a mummy, Fran Drescher and the Little Ceasars guy in it flying through the air. That last image has nothing to do with this post, I just figured while I had you imagining things, I’d run with it.
A worker and his partner climbed this 1768 ft. tower with a helmet cam, and yes, for a majority of the climb he’s free climbing. AKA: not hooked into anything. AKA: crazy as balls.
