A.D.’s Crown Of The Week Goes To Yet Another Aaron (Shocker.)

Before you think this is just a recurring Packers Team MVP blog, hear me out.

Aaron Jones was the highest scoring (45.6 points) fantasy player this week. Why is this so impressive? Aaron only played 48% of his team’s offensive snaps. Talk about MASSIVE production. On top of only playing in 48% of offensive snaps, Aaron only saw 52% of his team’s carries.

Guess what? That is all that Mr. Aaron Jones needed to earn himself A.D.’s Crown of the Week. Aaron rushed for 168 yards and 2 tuddy’s over 18 carries. Oh yeah, and he also added a receiving tuddy from last week’s Crown of the Week winner, Aaron Rodgers. A boost to the receiving corps for the Packers after Davante Adams went down to injury like the rest of the NFL in Week 2.

You may be thinking to yourself, A.D. definitely picked Aaron because he has the same name as him (A.D. = Aaron Daniel). Or you may be thinking it was definitely Aaron’s 75-yard-run that won Aaron the Crown of the Week:

But actually, it’s what happened AFTER this touchdown that earned Aaron the Crown of the Week.

Aaron was a man of his word and Lambaue Leapt his way up onto the advertising tarps and into my heart. A few days prior to the game, Aaron promised his fans that he would carry on the tradition even without a swarm of cheeseheads embracing him.

Aaron Jones says he'll definitely a Lambeau Leap if he scores Sunday, even without fans. He'll just leap onto one of those tarps covering first rows in the end zone. Some traditions, you just can't stop.
