The Detroit Lions introduced their next head coach to be fired, Dan Campbell. Jokes aside, I actually like this guy. I liked him back in 2015 when he served as the Miami Dolphins interim head coach when Joe Philbin was fired. And I still like him today. Especially thanks to the presser he gave on day one where he not only swore, but he also talked about biting people’s knee caps off. Oddly specific, sure, but firey as hell. I dig it. More coaches should talk about biting knee caps off on their first day.

Ryan Fitzpatrick deserves all the likes. The dude is incredible. And I’m not just saying that because he completed a pass while getting decapitated last weekend. I say that because no matter how good (or bad) he plays, he will always find a starting job in the NFL. In this week’s THINGS I LIKE, I explain how I find that to be more impressive than anything Tom Brady’s accomplished. Because when you’re good, we expect you to win championships and trophies. But when you’re mediocre to bad, we don’t expect you to continue to find starting jobs in the NFL. It’s impressive what he’s done. Anyway, you’re awesome, FitzMagic.

It’s not everyday a reigning NFL MVP leaves a game for like thirty minutes to take a massive dump fix his cramps. Those cramps must’ve been really bad. In fact, I bet he tried to hold in the cramps for as long as he could and then at some point, he just gave in and realized those cramps were coming whether he liked it or not. So I’m sure he grabbed his phone, an extra roll of toilet paper, and just went to the bathroom to let those cramps out. Earlier this week, the International Olympic Committee approved breakdancing as an Olympic sport for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. So naturally, it’s subject of my THINGS I LIKE video this week. Damn, it’s been a while. But Things I Like (This Week) is back, with probably the most predictable thing that we like: Derrick Henry. You knew it was only a matter of time or – in the case of the hiatus we took – a long time. But with the way he’s playing this year, and it can’t be stressed enough just how out of this world he is playing – it’s time people consider him for MVP. Do I think he should win?
