You Might Want To Sit Down For This, But Manny Ramirez Has Been Released – And Yes, It’s 2021.

I know, I know. Trust me. We were ALL looking forward to the upcoming Sydney Blue Sox season, but we’re just going to have to live with the fact that Manny won’t be a part of it.

Here is the statement from Sydney Blue Sox CEO Adam Dobb:

“Combined with the uncertainty of the season and the ongoing medical issue that is preventing Manny Ramirez from playing and training with the Sydney Blue Sox, we have decided to release Manny.

This is extremely disappointing for the Sydney Blue Sox, but we owe it to our fans and the other teams to make a decision now.

The level of investment to get him here meant this was never a PR stunt. It was never was our intention to have him NOT participate in the ABL this season. مواقع روليت

We are unable to comment further and wish to respect all of our current players and staff by continuing preparations for the remainder of the ABL season. We are doing everything we can to get restarted.”

This feels like the other day when we found out Matt Schaub was retiring. Which was extremely awkward, because we all thought Matt Schaub retired like five years ago. How is Manny Ramirez still playing baseball? The man has won multiple World Series titles, he’s probably the best right-handed hitter in the history of the sport, and oh yeah, he’s FORTY-EIGHT YEARS OLD! Julio Franco thinks this guy needs to go ahead and submit the retirement papers. I mean, damn. Can somebody loan Manny a pen already? لعبة كازينو

Also, while I appreciate the Blue Sox claiming this decision is based off the uncertainty of the season and an ongoing health issue, it’s ok, you can admit you’re cutting him because he’s old as balls. Was the ongoing health issue the fact that he’s pushing fifty? You don’t want a player wearing a Life Alert™ during the game? العاب مربحة

Don’t get it twisted. I LOVE Manny Ramirez. Mannywood was some of the most fun times in the Dodgers last three decades. In fact, I have a take that Manny Ramirez playing for the Dodgers was the first domino to spark the sale of the team. Well, that paired with the bankruptcy, ownership divorce and forthcoming legal issues. But even I can raise a hand and admit when the dream is over.

(PLOT TWIST)

The dream of ever owning Blue Sox season tickets, because they just released a cash cow! Keep going strong, ManRam! Get paid! Make money! And keep hitting homers bloop singles until you’re 60! Manny for life!
