Tyler Hansbrough’s Rec Specs

As if being a white guy in the NBA didn’t make him stand out enough…

Indiana Pacers’ Tyler Hansbrough will now be wearing rec specs. Hansbrough was elbowed in the face, cutting his eye, in a game against the Philadelphia 76ers on January 9th. He tried the specs out in practice and ended up really liking them. Hansbrough said, “It’s not a fashion show out there. I’m doing it to protect myself.”

Protecting himself from anything other than embarrassment.

In our opinion, he looks ridiculous. But like a Pacers schedule, he’s in a lose-lose situation, because he looks even more ridiculous with them off:
