Tony LaRussa Announces Retirement, Halloween Costume

St. Louis Cardinals Manager Tony LaRussa has called it in. And on first try, too. The future Hall of Famer announced his retirement this morning after managing three Major League Baseball teams over a span of 33-years. This announcement comes only 25 years after the retirement of his hairdo. Tony LaRussa will go down as one of the greatest managers of all time and one of the greatest Olympic athletes of all time… Wait… That’s Bruce Jenner? Oh. My bad. Nevermind.

Neither Nyjer Morgan nor any of his personalities could be reached for comment on this news.

However, the bigger news stemming from this morning’s press conference was Tony LaRussa announced he will go as Sloth from The Goonies for Halloween this year.

In other news, Albert Pujols will probably go as a Chicago Cub for Halloween… and the 2012 MLB season.
