Three Other Guys Invited To Joe Burrow’s Heisman Win
NEW YORK — Three other players from the world of college football have been invited to attend Joe Burrow’s Heisman win.
Oklahoma’s Jalen Hurts, and Ohio State’s Chase Young and Justin Fields all will be in attendance as Joe Burrow wins his Heisman tonight.
A source from the Heisman Trust have confirmed that’s this is not some sort of Make-A-Wish thing. “All of the invitees are fully healthy and coming voluntarily,” the source. “We’ve also been told that the invitees ALSO play college football, which is nice.”
The plan right now is to have all three gentlemen in attendance to applaud, smile, and make photo ops symmetrical.
“They’re basically seat fillers,” one source said. “You know how it looks bad on TV if there are empty seats? Well, these guys are gonna help with that.”
The plan is when an Eddie George, Troy Smith, or Tim Tebow need to run to the bathroom, Hurts, Fields, and Young will be there to fill the seats.
“It’s really nice of the Heisman Trust to make sure other players feel included too,” Jalen Hurts’ mom said. “Plus, I got a free trip to New York, woop woop!” When asked if Mrs. Hurts will be in attendance for the Heisman ceremony, “Oh no, honey. Why would I waste my time?”
There’s no confirmation yet if the three of them will be invited to to Joe Burrow’s Heisman after party, thrown by Johnny Manziel.
