This Cringey Padres Rap Video Is Even Cringey-er After The NLDS

Kids will be kids. And the Fathers will be the Fathers. I guess?

The cringe is strong in this one - The Force is strong | Meme Generator

Not the best look when you drop a really cringey video and then nothing you rapped in said cringey video comes true.

You know how I feel about music that’s so bad, it might be good. Shoutout Vin Diesel. And had the Padres played better in the NLDS, I’d probably be more on board with this high school class project looking video. But you can’t put out a diss track against your heated rivals from up the 5 freeway and then get swept. And not just swept, but outscored 23-9 in three games.

Woof.

It’s alright though, these guys gave us permission to call them a chump. Because at least they’re not Bellinger going through a slump.

Woof again.

But look, who cares if nothing they said in the video came to fruition. Slam Diego Padres is still fun as hell to watch (minus their last 3 games), and you know we love their boy señor Tinglay.

Since this video did have a high school class project feel to it, I will give them an A for effort. But boys, what was the bigger lesson we learned here today? Repeat after me: if you come at the king (of the NL West), you best not miss.

Don’t worry though, boys. You have a bright future making local used car dealership commercials waiting ahead of you.

There are only two things more cringey than this vid.

    1) Modern country music, especially its product placement thing w/flavored whiskey.

    2) Colin Cowherd
