The Browns Finally Have A QB With More Wins In Their Own Stadium Than Ben Roethlisberger

Talk about a glimmer of sunshine through dark, stormy days. And by days, I mean decades. The Cleveland Browns finally have a quarterback that has more wins than the Steelers’ Ben Roethlisberger in their own stadium.

Browns fans have been dying for something to hang their hat on. And they just got it.

Since 2004, Big Ben has terrorized the Browns with a 24-2-1 record. Reminiscent of Brady versus the Jets, Dolphins, and Bills, Ben has quite literally owned the Browns for nearly two decades. Luckily for Browns fans, Ben has relinquished the pink slips to First Energy Stadium and has passed the proverbial torch to the Progressive spokesman. Baker can now start to take on more responsibility. The commercial with him covering the seats of First Energy Stadium to protect them from the rain is a great example of him taking initiative.

Baker realized he’s the man of the house now that Ben handed over his extra set of keys and they changed the garage code. He’s got to start taking care of it, even if that involves covering every single seat in the stadium.

Think about that. Ben plays in that stadium once a year (at most). Browns quarterbacks play there EIGHT TIMES a year, at least. The good news, for Big Ben and Steelers fans, is that he still has an opportunity to be tied with Baker for most wins at First Energy Stadium this year. That is, of course, if the Browns lose the rest of their games at home (including the Steelers). And we all know the Browns are more than capable of accomplishing this, let’s be honest.

But for now, this accomplishment deserves two Ben Roethumbergers up.
