The Best Mighty Ducks News You’ll Hear Today: Goldberg The Goalie Is Sober! And Has New Teeth!
Shaun Weiss — famous for playing Goldberg in “The Mighty Ducks” — is looking like a million bucks … ’cause he’s got brand new pearly whites and he’s now over 200 days sober!!!
Shaun’s friend, Drew Gallagher, tells TMZ … Shaun received some full dental sponsorship offers from all over the country after we posted Shaun’s story about being 170 days sober … but needing new chompers.

Talk about a glow-up. My man didn’t just get sobes, he got a new grill. Meaning he can be a literal cake eater once again. When was the last time you saw a hockey player with a set of chicklets that nice? I’m not sure why this makes me so happy. Maybe it’s because Shaun was the star of two of the ’90s movie titans: Mighty Ducks and Heavyweights. Or maybe it’s just because he’s bounced back from being a first-ballot faces of meth hall of famer. Remember the last time we heard from Goldberg?
Damn. My guy looked like Skeletor. But now he’s back looking like America’s favorite goalie who farts a lot.

As if that wasn’t already great news … Shaun’s got more reason to smile since he’s officially 265 days (and counting!!!) living a sober life. BTW, Drew had previously started a GoFundMe to help pay for the dental work and Shaun’s rehab. Now that the teeth were fixed for free, the money raised will go a long way and help pay the rehab facility plus living expenses and towards getting him a car.
TMZ broke the story … Shaun’s sober living facility in Woodland Hills changed his life, and he’s staying clean and attending outpatient meetings 5 days a week. At the time, he was looking much better and happier. But, since our July story, Shaun’s looking a lot more like his former self … and dude couldn’t look happier.
This is legitimately awesome. Dude was in a really dark place. All you had to see was his mugshot to know that. I was worried the next TMZ headline we’d see about him was of his passing. Maybe that’s why I’m so stoked about this news. He’s not only still alive, but he “couldn’t be happier.” Sweet chompers too, Greg!
Talk about a week of epic returns. The NFL, our Instagram account, and now Greg Goldberg?? This has me more geeked than Kenny Wu watching the icecapades. Let’s goooooo! What good news are you gonna tell me next? Coach Bombay no longer looks like Ellen Degeneres?
