Taylor University’s Silent Night Game

When you think of college basketball traditions, every immediately turns to Taylor University, right? If not, they should. On the Friday night before finals week every year, Taylor University hosts their annual Silent Night Game. Taylor students pack their gym for a game and stay completely quiet until the team scores their 10th point of the game. Then all heaven* breaks loose.

* – Taylor is a Christian college.

Then they always cap the night off by signing ‘Silent Night’ during the game. Not to be mistaken with Pistons games, where every night is a silent night, based on attendance.
