South Carolina Gamecocks head coach Steve Spurrier recently shared a story about his coaching philosophy that seemed to be a little… well… revealing.

A few thoughts:
- So THAT’S how Steve Spurrier does so well in recruiting.
- After non-conference wins, South Carolina fans chant, “S-E-X! S-E-X! S-E-X!”
- Talking about taking advantage of a college athlete’s “likeness.”
- I’m not sure what that last joke even means.
- How is this NOT an NCAA violation.
- Well, they didn’t become GAME-cocks without a little help from their coach.
- If we paid college athletes, would this be prostitution?
- Spurrier is an English name, an ancient derivative of the root name Sandusky.
- Nick Saban hears about Spurrier’s recruiting strategy and immediately pages his secretary, “Sharon, get me my lubricants.”
- This brings a whole new meaning to his nickname “The Ole Ball Coach”
