President Obama Hosts Fantasy Basketball Champions At White House
WASHINGTON, D.C. — More sports champions visited the White House today, as the basketball-loving, amateur bracketologizing Commander-in-Chief honored every American who won their fantasy basketball league this year. Needless to say, the White House grounds were packed. لعبه الروليت
“It is… a great day… for this nation,” President Obama said. “So many of… these great Americans… have battled through the grind… driven through adversity… to earn great honors… among their peers. مواقع كازينو ”
A lucky few were even mentioned by name in the President’s speech, for winning their leagues in such dominating fashion.
“I must recognize… Lawson’s Creek… Breaking Brad Stevens… and… The Miami Luke Warm… for their inspirational accomplishments as team managers… and… champions.”
The President went on to mention how the world of fantasy sports has helped the economy recover and urged those who brought shovels not to take swatches of grass from the White House yard. He concluded his speech by spending 53 minutes talking about the Obamacare website.
There is some speculation for this event, as it is a first for any president, even the current one, who has not left his love for sports a secret.
When asked about the happenings today, Secretary of Education Arne Duncan, simply replied, ”He [Obama] finally bested me in our league this year, and I think he just wanted to celebrate the victory in the grandest fashion possible.”
Duncan’s theory would explain why the President held high a spraypainted gold bucket attached to a small black cardboard box while speakers blared Rick Astley’s “Never Gonna Give You Up” during the conclusion of the ceremonies.
