Korked Bats

That Funny Sports Blog

NBA = New Basketball Analyst

Now that I finally live in a state with a relevant NBA team, I feel like I am an expert on the sport. العاب استراتيجية اون لاين   Sure, I live over an hour away from Atlanta and have never played more than 5 minutes in an intramural basketball game… but I am an expert nonetheless.  If you recall, I attempted to make some predictions of the NCAA Conference Tournaments and actually did a pretty good job of it. القمار   Since the NBA really only has one tournament, I thought I would share with you some of my predictions of the 2010 NBA Playoffs.

Best First Round Match-Up

Hawks vs. Bucks

I have a very good feeling that this is going to be one of the few great first round match ups.  So much so, that I actually bought a ticket to tonight’s game.  These are two very good and very underrated teams with a lot to play for.  The Hawks have lived in Cleveland and Orlando’s shadows for the past few seasons and the Bucks have lived in the other 29 teams shadows for the past 10 seasons (Well, maybe not the Timberwolves).  Another exciting thing about this match up… Brandon Jennings.  He may not have his Gumby haircut anymore, but he is the future of the league and this team.  I don’t know about you guys, but this excites me.

Best Haircut

Ron Artest

This was a close one, and I am sure arguments can be made for the Brickadadee Birdman, but I am gonna have to give it to Artest.  He has been known for ridiculous hair styles and is finally starting to give Rodman a run for his money.  Let’s hope the Lakers make it a few more games, so we can see what else he has up his sleeves.

Most Likely to Choke

Cleveland Cavaliers

I may have lost some fans with this one, but it’s okay, because I probably didn’t have fans in the first place.  To all the LeBron faithful out there, quit getting your hopes up,  you are starting to remind me of Cubs fans.  LeBron IS NOT as good as Michael Jordan and never will be.  Deal with it.  Just go home and cry with your mommy… And LeBron.

Most Likely to Win

Orlando Magic

I don’t love the pick, but I called it earlier in the season and I am going to stick to my claim.  They are one of the best All-Around teams and are also the most disrespected of all the Big Boys.  Lakers… Everyone loves em. لعب بينجو   Cavs… Everyone Loves em.  Magic… The Rodney Dangerfield of the NBA.  I would love to see this outcome but not as much as I would like to see these guys win it all.
