Let Me Be Frank With You…

. . . . . . . . . . . .

Joey Crawford, it’s time to retire.

After watching the above clip from the Blazers/Suns game, I think it’s safe to say long time NBA referee Joey Crawford needs to step away from the game of basketball. He claims to be only 58 years young, but he looks a lot older than that to me. And after calling the most random mystery foul I’ve ever seen in my 23 years of life, I’m fairly certain he is becoming senile. So, you’re telling me MARCUS CAMBY fouled STEVE NASH on this play?

The Hornets have found a new method of defense.

This photo gives a whole new meaning to the phrase, “pick and roll”. بلاك جاك اون لاين I guess the NBA really does care. It’s allergy season and players across the league just can’t stand to see fellow athletes’ airflow restricted by boogers. Looking at the picture you can tell this is really something they are passionate about.

The US Women’s Hockey team won a 2000 bronze medal, today. موقع كازينو 888

Just because my inbox is literally filled each day from readers demanding more women’s hockey coverage out of me, I felt the need to report that China cheated in the 2000 Olympics in Sydney and today were forced to hand over their bronze medal to the United States. And by cheating I mean they used a 14 year old girl when the age minimum is 16. كازينو عربي How that could be considered “cheating” is beyond me, but the only thing about this story that makes it even remotely relevant to me is that the United States medal count went up by one. None of the 7 women’s hockey fans in the world we’re made available for comment. Go America.

If you ever go to a WKU/FAU baseball game, pray for rain.

Although the dancing and creative choreography in this video are quite impressive and entertaining, my favorite part is the awkward narrator attempting to be hip. He reminds me of “that dad” who tries to act cool when his son’s friends are around by attempting to mimic their humor and vocabulary only to fail miserably. I bet this guy still uses phrases like, “you da bomb!”, “rock on”, “get jiggy wit it”, and “you go girl!”. Make sure you hear his “claw” reference at about the 2:17 mark.

We were on TV.

Luckily its not on YouTube yet for you to laugh at, but as you may know Austin and I appeared on SportsLine (a Nashville sports talk show) last week. I don’t know about Austin, but it was certainly my first experience with live TV aside from our days announcing sporting events for WBHS9 back in high school. We’d like to thank News Channel 5 for bringing us on their show. As you can tell by the following screen shots, Austin felt like a kid in a candy shop and I, well, I was just being Frank with Mike (the host) the whole time.

Ever notice how Austin’s nostrils flare up when laughs and when he is on TV?
