Kyle Busch is a Mean Girl
Kyle Busch won his 4th Nationwide Series race in Nashville this past Saturday night. With winning the award, Busch was given the Nashville Superspeedway Federated Auto Parts 300 Trophy, a custom painted Les Paul Gibson Guitar. After being handed the award, Busch held the guitar high in the air for a nice photo op. After a few seconds, Kyle decided to release his inner Pete Townshend. To Kyle’s surprise, Les is a bit stronger than he anticipated. It took three smashes and even after the third, only a piece of the guitar chipped off.
Busch’s antics may have come off as a jerk thing to do, but Kyle “Cady Heron” Busch just wanted to give every member of his team a piece of the trophy.
Kyle couldn’t understand why everyone was stressing over the trophy. It was just wood. Cold hard wood.
He took a piece of the smashed guitar and tossed it saying, “A piece for Gretchen Wieners, a partial Spring Fling Queen.”
It was then that Superspeedway General Manager and Vice President, Cliff Hawks stepped in to tell Kyle, “Seriously, most people just take the trophy and go.”
Kyle ignored Hawks and continued his speech, “And a piece for Regina George. She fractured her spine, and she still looks like a rockstar.”
“And some for everybody else!” Busch concluded as he threw pieces into the crowd to Jessica Lopez, who’s dress was amazing! And Emma Gerber with the hairdo that must have taken hours. She looked really pretty.
Smashing your newly earned trophy on the ground? I guess we can just add this to the list of bad boy (or Mean Girl) antics that Kyle Busch has done in his career.
All I know is that for the rest of the Nationwide Series, I’m going to be cheering for Glen Cocco!
