Korked Bets: NFL Week 9

The holidays are just around the corner and you’re going to have to spend a lot of your hard earned money buying gifts that your relatives will never use. So, why not make some extra cash on the side so all that wasted money isn’t coming out of your paycheck? We have some leads on alleged guarantees so you can have that extra income this year. I’ll provide my Pick Six and a parlay I have high confidence in. Let’s get to it!

New England Patriots @ Carolina Panthers Line NE: -3.5

One of many previous Super Bowl matchups this week, I think I can count on B-Squared to repeat history and defeat the Panthers. Carolina has been so inconsistent this year and you never know what you’re going to get, meanwhile the Patriots remain largely consistent. I’ll put my money on Bill to bring out the worst in Sam Darnold, who he saw a lot of during Sam’s time in New York.

Pick: NE -3.5 Patriots 27 Panthers 17

LA Chargers @ Philadelphia Eagles Line: LAC: -2

The Chargers need a bounce back game badly. The Eagles looked good againt the Lions last week…but who doesn’t look good against the Lions? I think this is the week the Bolts come back to life and get that spark they’ve been looking for.

Pick: LAC -2 Chargers 33 Eagles 24

Green Bay Packers @ Kansas City Chiefs Line: KC -7.5

I was really looking forward to this game. *deep sigh* I think the Chiefs should be able to put up many points against a weak Packers defense with all of their weapons finally snapping out of their cold streak. I think having Jordan Love start his first game is a good time for the Chiefs to change their season around. They need this win badly, and need to win it by a lot. I think they do.

Pick: KC -7.5 Chiefs 38 Packers 23

Tennessee Titans @ LA Rams Line: LAR -7

This is another game that would have been a must-watch if it weren’t for a star player being out. Granted, this one is not that player’s fault. Without Henry in the game plan, I think the Rams should be able to win and cover this game by a touchdown. They have a ton of momentum and look like Super Bowl favorites heading into this week. Big statement game and I think their veteran stars can make it happen. With a healthy Henry, I do think this could have gone differently.

Pick: LAR -7 Rams 31 Titans 21

Chicago Bears @ Pittsburgh Steelers Line: PIT -6

The Steelers have great weapons on offense but still don’t put up as many points as you’d expect. The Bears have largely struggled on offense all season long. I think this game will be close, but I expect the weapons on the Steelers to be able to put up enough points to cover the spread against a Bears team where you never really know what you’re going to get. Plus, the Steelers defense and TJ Watt going against a rookie QB sounds like a formula for success. Steelers win and cover.

Pick: PIT -6 Steelers 24 Bears 17

Atlanta Falcons @ New Orleans Saints Line: NO -6.5

This should not be a fun game to watch. Unless you like naps. Mmm naps. The Saints defense has proven to be one of the best in the league, but I don’t think the offense will be able to put up points without a proven QB. The Falcons should be able to keep it close, even if they do lose.

Pick: ATL +6.5 Falcons 17 Saints 23

Parlay: Chargers (-2), Rams (-7), Steelers (-6)

I’m also feeling risky today and doing a low-risk high reward 5-pick bet: Chargers (-2), Rams (-7), Steelers (-6), Chiefs (-7.5), Patriots (-3.5) that comes out at +2552
