Korked Bets: College Football Championship Weekend
How long are leftovers good for? Certainly I shouldn’t still be eating them, right? That wasn’t a good decion. These picks, however? Are. Let’s go!
Baylor vs Oklahoma State – Line: OKST -6
The Cowboys have won a lot of money for me this year. The Bears have cost me some parlays. Maybe I’m going with my heart here but I don’t think so. Cowboys won the last time they met and have only gotten better. They have a solid defense and can put up points. I like them winning by a touchdown
Pick: OKST -6 Oklahoma State 33 Baylor 24
Georgia vs Alabama – Line: UGA -6.5
This is going to be an interesting game. It’s the weakest Alabama team we’ve seen in years, against one of the best defenses we’ve seen in a long time. But Nick Saban is Nick Saban. Can you bet against him? This time, yes.
Pick: UGA -6.5 Georgia 28 Alabama 20
Michigan vs Iowa – Line: Michigan -12.5
Is Michigan back? It certainly seems to be that way. They beat the Buckeyes without breaking a sweat it seemed like. Totally in control. They keep rolling into the CFP and beat Iowa by double digits.
Pick: UofM -12.5 Michigan 35 Iowa 20
Houston vs Cincinatti – Line: CIN -10.5
This could end up being a closer game than we think, but I still think the Bearcats can win and cover. Houston hasn’t really been challenged by a decent team outside of maybe SMU?
Pick: CIN -10.5 Cincinatti 40 Houston 24
Pittsburgh vs Wake Forest – Line: PIT -3.5
Lots of points will be happening in this game. It’s going to come down to whose defense do you trust more and I believe that to be the Panthers.
Pick: PIT -3.5 Pittsburgh 42 Wake Forest 30
Perfect Parlay: OKST -6, UofM -12.5, UGA -6.5
Dog of the Week: Alabama. Season on the line. How can you bet against Nick Saban? I keep asking myself. They can upset the Dawgs. It’s possible.
