Jhonny, You Just Got Wikied!
Jhonny Peralta is your everyday average Major League player. He usually hits in the mid to upper .200’s and has enough pop to average nearly 20 home runs a season. He’s not THAT bad is he?
Well, a little website called Wikipedia would beg to differ.
And you know it’s truth, since everything on the internet is true. ESPECIALLY WIKIPEDIA. I used it all the time in college to write papers and stuff. And heck, I finished college in under 6 1/2 years!
Anyway, right around the trade deadline, if you were to stumble upon Jhonny Peralta’s Wikipedia page (which why the heck would you ever be looking up Jhonny Peralta’s Wikipedia page?!), you may have noticed something that’s not too right.

Seems pretty normal doesn’t it? Why don’t you take a closer look at the “Bats:” and “Throws:” section right under his picture.
According to Wikipedia, he bats poorly and throws like a chick.
Wow, I never knew that about him.
I mean, I knew he wasn’t the best player in the league, but surely he’s not THAT bad! Throwing like a chick?! Unless that chick is Jennie Finch, that’s an incredible insult, because we all know that if you don’t have a Y chromosome then you can’t do anything athletic. It’s science.
Jhonny is in the Major Leagues. He has been for seven years now. He must be doing something right!
