How The Astros Made A Bad Situation Worse

If you’re a fan of any Major League Baseball team not named the Houston Astros, you’re probably pretty annoyed, if not angry, at the way the Astros cheated, got caught cheating, admitted to cheating, and then got super defensive when everyone called them cheaters.

Over the last six months or so, the Astros got caught for cheating during the 2017 season, “part of” the 2018 season, and none of the 2019 season based solely on the fact that Commissioner Rob Manfred believed them when they said they didn’t cheat in 2019. (Upon further questioning, Rob Manfred said he had no proof that the cheating didn’t continue in 2019 – when the Astros won their second American League pennant in three years)
