He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not?

One thing I know for sure:

The Super Bowl is next week, ladies.

You should know this in order to keep up in your conversations with any sports fan ever. It’s also important to know who is playing in the SuperBowl. Keep reading, I’ll get to it. (It’s the New York Giants against the New England Patriots. العاب بوكر للكبار ) (See, I told you I’d get to it!)

Now, if you are wanting to do a bit more showing off, this next piece of sports information will help…

National Signing Day 2012

Before today, I thought this was something that happened in baseball. Not sure why. I am just being honest with you. However, thanks to my sports sources, I now know what really happens on National Signing Day and I think I’ve thought of a good way to explain it to the non sports fanatic or avid Bachelor follower. مواقع مراهنات رياضية

As far as I can tell, National Signing Day is to college football what getting engaged is to a cute and happy couple, but it has to start somewhere. Colleges, big and small, try and get these up and coming college freshmen to choose their school. They must prove that to these young athletes that they are the best and most attractive college option. The colleges want to pick them up in an old vintage car and take the football stars to a drive-in movie. العاب لربح المال الحقيقي They want to open the car door for them and get on good terms with their parents. They want to take pictures together and post them on Facebook (even though this is probably against some sort of NCAA violation).  They want to figure out which family they are going to see on Thanksgiving and send each other good morning texts.

Then, on the day of the actual Signing Day the question is popped and the future college student makes the announcement on who made the best bid. Who looked best next to them in the photos? Who has the support of mom and dad? Who snuck the best snacks into the movie theatre? This is the day that they sign their lives away. They commit. They say yes.

But just like any engagement, it can break up. It will be full of awkward questions. It will be full of wasted cake tastings and e-vite RSVPs. All in all, it’s awkward. And like any engagement, you take pictures. Maybe not the kind of pictures that involve a big field with said college with said football star, but at least they can take one with your new team’s jersey. That seems appropriate.

So there you go, ladies. Your basic gist of National Signing Day. In a lot of ways, it’s like The Bachelor. Only, the player is The Bachelor and each annoying and easy girl is a college. Oh, and there is no Chris Harrison either. Which is why we ladies don’t watch any National Signing Day coverage. But, be sure to note, if you start talking about National Signing Day, you will be the talk of the town. In a good way.
