Gatorade’s New Derek Jeter Commercial Is Pretty Awesome [VIDEO]

Did you guys hear Derek Jeter is retiring?

Gatorade released a new Derek Jeter commercial for the final month of his career. The ad depicts Derek Jeter deciding to take in New York City more, knowing that he won’t be playing much longer. It’s like when your really old dog starts wandering off into new areas of your house, knowing he’s not going to be around much longer. Or something like that.

Derek Jeter has been taking a lot of walks this season, because it’s the only way he can get on base anymore.

Also, this commercial is shot in black and white, because that’s how movies were shot when he first came into the league.
