Friday Fun: Year In Review

The Best of 2010’s

We know what you’re thinking. “Wasn’t 2010, like, last year?” Well, brainiac, you hit the nail on the head with that one. However, 2010 was a great year, and we still want to commemorate it still. So sue us. (That was just an expression, please don’t sue us. We don’t have any money.)

Nearly every week, we bring you Friday Fun. A chance to kick back at work, school, or the soup kitchen (for all of our homeless readers out there) and procrastinate your day away by watching funny videos. We usually try and find a video on the internet that is funny, entertaining, and new.

So wouldn’t you know it, with this Friday Fun: Year In Review post, we have collected the best of the best for your viewing pleasure. Take some time out and watch these gems.

“‘O’ My Gosh, It’s A Mole!”

Oprah tries to wipe away Super Bowl XLIV MVP Drew Brees’ mole away thinking it’s lipstick… And this is the lady we gave an entire television network to, people. This is why the world is slowly falling to it’s demise.

If you’re not ooozing with awkwardness after that video, then watch it again, and trust me, you will be.

Side Note: I love the ONE guy in the audience chanting “Who Dat” to himself. What?

As Seen On TV-Hat

Continuing on with the slow demise of our nation’s planet, this is actually being sold. Are you kidding me? Has anyone purchased this? If so, you should put that hat on before taking a long walk off a short pier.

In these people’s defense, I can’t tell you how many times I have sat around wearing hat thinking to myself, “If only I had a TV screen hanging down from my bill.” I can’t tell you how many times because it’s never happened. Get a life, not a TV hat.

“Ow My Little Bretts!”

This was probably the best day in all of sports last year. The day Brett Favre got drilled in the nuts by a football. It was about time the guy who has taken sports media hostage over the past three years, by retiring and unretiring and sexting images of his manhood to a Jets employee and retiring again before unretiring a second time, gets hit in the nuts.

It was not determined if it was actually Jen Sterger who threw that ball at Favre.

A Stoke Of Genius Failure

Nothing better than golf course pranks. No wait, yes there is. Golf course pranks that get ruined by grumpy old men.

WARNING: This video contains strong language.

What did they do that fore? (You see what I did there? I put fore instead of for. It’s a golf term.)

You Thought Andy Reid Was Fat Now?

Get a load, pun intended, of him when he was 13. No, that’s not a typo. He was 13-years old when this video was taken. I’m willing to bet that on the playground he was either picked first or picked on.

Andy Reid should sue Dreamworks for taking his adolescence and turning it into an animated movie character named Shrek.

Canadian Football Makes Up Rules As They Go

Just when you couldn’t be any more embarrassed of America’s hat, they had to go and have a crazy ending to a football game like this. Seriously, Canada? We have a name here in America for the type of football you play. It’s called Barnum Bailey’s Circus.

Wut wuz that play all aboot, eh?

Overcoming Life’s Hurdles… Sort Of

Sometimes in life, it just seems like everyone is racing right by you. It seems as though the hurdles that life throws your way are just too hard to overcome. That’s when it’s best to just go around them, because let’s face it, if you try and jump it, you’ll just fall flat on your face. Oh, and by the way, I’m not speaking metaphorically, I’m just describing this video.

I’m willing to bet this girl doesn’t make the team next year.

ChoirBoy Tell ‘Em

If you are looking to make a funny video to go viral on the internet, make sure you include either a squirrel doing tricks or a choir boy fainting. Trust me, you’re video will make it huge!

Hope he didn’t fall and break his pitch pipe… If you know what I mean.

Because he’s in a choir. Members of choirs usually own pitch pipes. What did you think I meant? Perverts.

Shameless Plug Video

What would a sports blog that no one reads be without including their own video in their own favorite videos of the year list? Nothing. Nothing, I tell you. So we pretty much had to. This video takes the ridiculous yell from a Minnesota High School Girls Basketball announcer and dubs it over popular clips.

You’re welcome, because without us, you probably never would have seen a highlight from a Minnesota Girls High School Basketball game.
