Franchise Tags And More
Yesterday in the NFL was Franchise Tag Day. The franchise tag is a designation a team may use on a player that is about to become an unrestricted free agent. When a player is franchise tagged, they are owned by the team that tagged them for another year. And blah, blah, blah. Are you even still reading this? Ugh. The intricacies of the NFL, amirite?!
Yesterday was the deadline for teams to place the franchise tag on one of their players. However, the franchise tag isn’t the only tag teams can place on their players. It’s just that the other tags don’t get as much press as the franchise tag does. Allow us to show you:

If he’s going to miss meetings by over sleeping, he might as well do it comfortably.

Why waste a franchise tag on a player, just start luggage tagging the whole team for their move to [London/Los Angeles].
