Eject Me? Eject You!

The Tampa Bay Rays has the worst record in baseball. How bad are they? Newly retired Manny Ramirez has failed more MLB issued drug tests than the Rays have wins in this very young season.

During yesterday’s 6-1 loss to the Chicago White Sox, Rays manager Joe Maddon left the dugout to politely dispute an umpire’s call. Upon this disagreement, Maddon was asked to leave. This request by the umpire staff made Maddon irate. He then turned the tables and ejected every umpire present at yesterday’s game. Watch:

After checking multiple Major League Baseball rule books, we found out that despite Joe Maddon’s best efforts, managers are not allowed to eject the umpires… even if they are wearing Elton John sunglasses.

If the Rays play any worse this season, they may want to switch back to wearing these:
