Cigar Guy Unmasked (For Real)

By now you’ve more than likely seen the absurd picture above. It is awesome on numerous levels and has spread like wildfire across the internet. People everywhere became facinated with “The Cigar Guy” and the search for his real identity has been a hot topic on blogs, message boards, and anywhere deep, engaging sports conversations are commonplace. Here at Korked Bats, we even threw in our two cents on the matter. Well, we were wrong believe it or not. We were WAY wrong.

The Cigar Guy has been unmasked, and this is who he is? Really?

Meet Rupesh Shingadia, a 30 year old investment analyst from South London who lives with his parents, a retired mechanic and a housewife.

Wow, if that last sentence was any less exciting I’d be certain I was watching the NHL segment of SportsCenter. I wish we never found out who this guy was.
