cBCS – Week 6

Welcome to October.
Leaves are changing.
The weather is getting chillier.
If your MLB team is still alive, then you are watching two sports.
If you are from Canada, then you are watching preseason hockey.
But if you are a red blooded American, you are currently feeling the excitement of
COLLEGE FOOTBALL!

cBCS Top 10

10. USC

This Week: vs. Oregon
Reason: How could we not? Any team that plays Oregon State on a Thursday night game is going to look like America’s biggest upset victim… Ok, so maybe not. ماكينات القمار USC just looked real bad.

9. Georgia
This Week: IDLE
Reason: What did we say last week? This season isn’t getting any easier. Rob Schneider said it best in ‘The Waterboy’: “Oh No! We Suck Again!”

8. Texas Tech (*)
This Week: @ Kansas State
Reason: Doesn’t it feel like it’s been 31 years since the Red Raiders have been ranked this high?

7. BYU
This Week: @ Utah State
Reason: These Mormans are on a mission. Not that kind of mission. A mission to get as many wins as their coach has wives. They will probably do it too. BYU could quite possibly make the BCS.

6. LSU
This Week: IDLE
Reason: LSU hasn’t moved up because LSU hasn’t looked like a top five team. If this year’s LSU’s football team were a woman, they’d be Maggie Gyllenhal. She seems like a hot woman, but then when you get a closer look, you’re like, “Oooo, maybe not.

5. Penn State
This Week: @ Purdue
Reason: C’mon… this is college. And college is all about road trips, right?! Well, Penn State starts off a stint of four of their next five games on the road. Hopefully, the Nittany Lions will have better success than Martin Lawrence had with his College Road Trip. They should, Penn State seems to be the favorite in the Big Ten.

4. Texas (*)
This Week: @ Colorado
Reason: Texas can’t take this week off. The Buffalos rock at Folsom Field. ربح مال حقيقي Probably better than Dave Matthews. But Colt McCoy is playing great football and as all Texas has to do is get by this week. The can breathe easy knowing they only have to play Oklahoma next week.

3. Missouri (*)
This Week: @ Nebraska
Reason: Bo Pelini said his goal is to shut out Missouri. And our goal is to get someone other than Christine Conklin to read and comment on our blog posts! Like either of those are going to happen! Chyah! Bo Pelini’s goal should be to look more like a football coach and not the Russian dude from ‘Armageddon’.

2. Alabama
This Week: vs. Kentucky
Reason: Dear, USA… Have you guys realized that the University of Kentucky has the best scoring defense in the country? Because they do. But good news for Tide fans, Kentucky has never won in Tuscaloosa. But after last week, you can never say never in the SEC.

1. Oklahoma
This Week: @ Baylor
Reason: After last week, we are a little skeptical of saying any team is going to go undefeated. However, a Sooner upset is going to have to wait at least one week. Baylor is just a fallen tree stump in the middle of the trail on the way to the Red River.

(*) – On Upset Alert

Other Week 6 Notes
From A to Z:
  • If we produced a top 25 poll, the Auburn Tigers would not be on it. They are not a good team.
  • The only reason Missouri is on upset alert is because Brandon Lucky said that Mizzou should watch out because they’re “angry right now.”
  • Speaking of Missouri, look for Chase Daniel and backup QB, Chase Patton (that’s right), on the next cover of ESPN the Magazine.
  • This far into the season, the Big 12 is playing the best football. Sorry, SEC… looks like your reign is coming to an end.
  • ESPN’s College GameDay is in Nahville, Tennessee for the first time ever. The bigger suprise will be if Vanderbilt produces more fans then Auburn at the set.

Underdog Picks
We’re not going to lie, we are pretty happy after last week’s underdog picks. So this week we put a lot more discussion, debate, and thought into our picks to keep our hot streak up. لعب القمار على الانترنت Rankings are AP.

Zach (1-0)
Kansas State over #7 Texas Tech

Austin (1-0)
#19 Vanderbilt over #13 Auburn

DUDES! I read every post I just can’t comment cause I read on my phone! Nebraska lost last week at home. I’m not too worried that Brandon Lucky and the Huskers are “angry right now”. Keep up the cBCS rankings. The Bo Pelini comment was hilarious

Maybe wopata should get on his phone and search for “Brandon Lucky.” He might then try “Marlon Lucky” and find what he’s looking for. Lucky plays on offense, but it’s the defense who’s gonna be angry. Mizzou is gonna run up the score on a D that’s led by Carl Pelini, former coach and athletic director at, none other than, Winnetonka High (and we all know how Tonka just dominates KC football). I like how all the Big XII teams are on upset alert except the team playing Baylor.
