A Year Ago Today…

It was a year ago today when ESPN’s SportsNation recognized our blog as their Site of the Day.

A day that will never be forgotten in our website’s short two year history. That was the first of many accolades our website obtained over the past year. The blog was located at blogspot.korkedbats.com and has since moved to out current location on the web, KorkedBats.com.

However, Site of the Day wasn’t the only love we got from ESPN in the past year. We were also given the great opportunity to interview SportsNation co-host Michelle Beadle. We would like to thank ESPN for recognizing us twice this past year. We would also like to thank all of you, our readers. We haven’t been able to pay for advertising, so all of our growth has come from word of mouth. Which is why we want to thank you. Thank you for reading, for coming back, and for telling others about our site. We will continue to work hard to deliver the current sports news in the funniest way we can.

Let’s see what this next year has in store for us!
