A Look Back: Rolando McClain’s Career Highlights

Earlier this week, Ravens linebacker Rolando McClain retired at the age of 23. Probably because that’s the only thing he knows how to do that won’t get him arrested.

We didn’t want to send McClain off into retirement without a little celebratory look back onto his illustrious career in the NFL. So, we compiled a look back onto Rolando’s best moments as an Oakland Raider, and the three weeks he was a Baltimore Raven.

Remember that time he almost sacked Caleb Hanie? Man, that was close.

• • •

How about that time when Rolando was pulled over for having his windows too tinted, and instead of giving the officer his real name, he gave the officer a false name. Ha! Classic, Rolando. Always giving people his fake name: Theo Huxtable

• • •

Here he is giving a high five to Arian Foster. Him and Arian are buddies from all the way back in college when Arian played at Tennessee and Rolando played at Alabama. Rolando was always trying to give his buddies high fives on the field during games. He’s so friendly.

Sometimes Rolando would give high fives off the field too. Sometimes he would give too many high fives to one person and would get arrested for third-degree assault, menacing, reckless endangerment and discharging a firearm within city limits. Oops. But we all make mistakes, ya know?

• • •

He’s smiling because, he’s currently giving that police man an “around-the-back” high five, but little does the cop know, right when he goes to slap hands, Rolando is going to pull it away and say too slow! Rolando is such a jokester.

Look at him go! Here’s Rolando paying his bail with SEC speed.

Rolando, you had a career that will not be forgotten. Because now, you’ll probably get arrested a lot more, reminding us of your NFL career. Good luck in retirement, Rolando. Also, good luck in Rolando’s retirement, Rolando’s parole officer. Like most retired NFL players, maybe Rolando can pick up a hobby of being on TV. There’s at least one show that would be perfect for him:
