A.D.’s Crown of the Week Goes To Who Else But An Actual King

WAIT! NO! Not that one, this King Henry.

Derrick Henry has been in the news a lot the last couple weeks, thanks to Josh Norman. At Korked Bats, we are The #1 Derrick Henry Fan Site On The Internet™. So this may not come as a surprise to you. But we’ve had 5 crowns handed out prior to this and he didn’t win in any of them. In fact, King Henry’s done a lot of damage, but he hasn’t won A.D.’s Crown of the Week…….. until now.

What Derrick Henry did versus the Texans Sunday should be considered murder.

Derrick Henry is crossing off people on his hit list like Steve Buscemi in Billy Madison.

First it was the entire Jaguars defense, next it was Earl Thomas (and his brother by proxy), then it was poor Josh Norman getting tossed like a newborn baby, and now the entire Texans defense. This man is relentless. NO ONE IS SAFE.

You could say the Titans were “glad they called that guy”‘s number in overtime. After the Titans won the overtime coin toss, you could see in Deshaun Watson’s reaction that the game was over. Why, you ask? Have you not been paying attention?? Derrick Henry!

As Hubb mentioned in his investigative piece, Derrick probably had plenty of victims on his “hit list” in high school, after he AVERAGED 252.6 yards per game and SCORED 153 rushing tuddy’s. Hard for me to even fathom those totals. They sound entirely made up. Are we sure this wasn’t backyard football?

Let’s just say King Henry treated the Texans like a high school team on Sunday. Derrick amassed 212 rushing yards and 2 tuddy’s while adding 52 yards receiving. His impressive stat line also included a 94 yard tuddy that he was clocked at running 21.6 MPH. 264 TOTAL YARDS FOR THE KING!

We all know Derrick already has a crown since he is the KING but now he can add the Crown to his collection.
